Screen sharing in Firefox Nightly on GNOME Wayland

Is there a way to get screen sharing in websites like Google Meet on GNOME Wayland running on Arch Linux on Firefox/Firefox Nightly? I'm currently on Nightly 86.0a1

You'll need pipewire setup as well as one of the xdg-portal-desktop packages, but it looks like it's available by default on FF 84+?

I'm on 86a01. How to setup sharing?

This solution has suddenly stopped working. I shifted to linux-lts. Could that cause it? Here are some relevant images: https://imgur.com/a/r59MRYC (Note in 2nd screenshot that the screen sharing icon is shown in GNOME taskbar, yet no screen is being actually shared)

I have that exact same behavior, I can select a screen or a window to share, I see the sharing icon in the gnome taskbar but the screen is not shared.
I don't think that the linux-lts is an issue as I don't use it. For me it appear maybe from the switch to gnome 40.

@devmrfitz did you find a solution?

Re: Screen sharing in Firefox Nightly on GNOME Wayland

Xorg was an option for me to share my screen during important reunions, but there are some workflow functions of Gnome 40 that do not work on  X server (libinput, mainly), so it's not an option for me. After hours of searching for a solution, I found piper and followed Arch Wiki to install and configure Chrome to make the proper integration. Well, when I try to use it, the gnome sharing menu appears and I select the entire screen but then it turns into a loop (select screen, choose it, select screen, choose it), which doesn't work at all.

I have the same issue, and I think it started after updating to Firefox 92.0
