[solved] cron jobs not running. fresh install

I am running a fairly fresh Arch install.

I have scripts in /etc/cron.daily and /etc/cron.hourly

They are executable and run manually.

But cron does not execute them. What am I missing?

I wouldn't expect a response. This user seems to be in the habit of abandoning threads.

no, I am here. and yes, I do forget to come back. I have cronie installed. Do I need to enable it with systemd?

fixed it. I had to enable the cronie service. thanks.
