Bittorrent not working

I just installed bittorrent and wxpython: it is not working.
The interface shows up but frozen.

I've been having issues with the new bittorrent too (wx interface). It works for me, but not without sucking up CPU resources. I've had it lock up on me several times. Besically, if you try to do anything, like accessing a menu item while it's downloading, it hangs. Sadly, I don't know how to fix this besides downgrading and using the previous version for a while. Hopefully, they will fix the issues.

Guys i was using bittorrent long time, sometimes new releases brings
some bugs and troubles, i have switch to rtorrent which is writen
in C or C++ runs much better than this interpreter python thing,
give it a try and see it self.

You have quite a vast array of possibilities aside of official Bittorrent client. I'd suggest giving rtorrent (as Runzajs suggested) or enhanced-ctorrent (in AUR) a try if you're after a command line client or Transmission (GTK) or KTorrent (QT) if you prefer a GUI one. There are also many other possibilities as well.
