Lightworks click and drag tracks does not work in Wayland

I recently installed Lightworks for some basic video editing.

I'm using Sway as a window manager.

I'm currently unable to drag tracks on the timeline from left to right; when I try to drag it seems as if what is happening is the equivalent of dragging the track to a different area of the window (but I'm unsure exactly what happens). I can see the "drag" icon when I hover over the track, but when I actually click and move around, the track does not move as expected.

I am guessing this may have something to do with Wayland, since I experienced click and drag issues with Chrome/Chromium, but I may be way off.

Is there any way to make dragging work under Wayland? How can I debug this?
