Network Manager fails at boot, tries to mount encrypted /home volume

When I boot, I have to wait extra 30 seconds to see an error message:

[ TIME ] Timed out waiting for device /dev/mapper/home
[DEPEND] Dependency failed for File System Check on /dev/mapper/home
[DEPEND] Dependency failed for /home
[FAILED] Failed to start network manager

The error happens before the login prompt appears (the default tty one - I don't use any login shell). After I log in, everything works, except I have to wait a few more seconds to get an Internet connection (which I presume is because Network Manager can finally start after /home is mounted).

I checked the logs. I think the issue is that the Network Manager tries to mount the /home partition, which it shouldn't. /home is set up to be mounted when I log in.

I don't think it was always the case. It must have happened after a recent update. I have had encrypted /home ever since I used Arch. Why does Network Manager try to mount /home? Is there a way to disable this dependency?

Re: Network Manager fails at boot, tries to mount encrypted /home volume

I never managed to solve it but after re-installing Arch (for other reasons) the issue does not occur.
