Android Emulator causing static cracking Audio

Hi Arch Community,

Ive been living with this issue in the OS where when I start Android Emulator the audio that is currently playing starts crackling in various degrees.  Sometimes its ear-piercing sometimes subtle.

I dont know where to really start with this one, so any help would be appreciated.

My current work around is closing the emulator when I need to watch a video or listen to music.

I have same issue. Did you found the reason and solution? But in my case pausing and resuming videos works.
