In general, that is not how it works. Support is not provided on a machine by machine basis. Rather, support is provided various peripherals. When you install Arch Linux, it may "just work". It should find your peripherals and load the correct kernel modules.
After installation, you may find some things that do not work -- often a fingerprint reader, or an SD card interface. You may need to build a module that is not enabled in Arch. We can help with that. You may also find a peripheral for which there is no Linux support, but the rest of the machine will be fine.

There's usually nothing to little that would make something inherently work on Ubuntu but not on Arch. Official support from dells side will likely only be given on Ubuntu, but that wouldn't prevent you from setting it up on Arch.
