Hi, my computer was in the middle of an update when we had a flash power outage. Now computer will not boot.
Message I'm getting is:
Minimal BASH-like line editing is supported. For the first word, TAB lists possible command completions. Anywhere else TAB lists possible device or file completions.
grub>
Can someone guide me or explain to me what all that means? If this was not posted in the format that the forum wants, I apologize because I'm on my cell phone and it doesn't seem to work.

Thanks but it was not pacman, I had a power surge while system was updating.
Trying a rescue USB to see if that can help me.

Regardless of the actual cause, the linked article explains how to fix your current situation.
What you see is the grub shell, because your grub installation/configuration is broken as well.

Oh okay! Thank you for that information. I will follow that along with another example I found on the internet. It's just stinking hard following off of my small screen on my cell phone. Thanks again though. Once I've got the issue resolved I will marked as solved just in case I have to come back here.
