Hi,
I'm trying to migrate an installation to a new M.2 SSD disk. I moved the old M.2 SSD in an USB adapter (orico), based on Realtek RTL9210 M.2 NVME Adapter but can't see it. fdisk -l does not even see this hard drive!
I installed the new M.2 SSD in the computer (NUC) ans it is seen normally.
in dmesg, about the M.2 SSD installed in a NVME adapter, I can see this:
[113225.217388] usb 1-6: new high-speed USB device number 13 using xhci_hcd
[113225.364982] usb 1-6: New USB device found, idVendor=0bda, idProduct=9210, bcdDevice=20.01

I don't know what to do at all!

Oh! Yes! Thank you! It seems to be the case. I switch back my old M.2 disk inside my nuc and I put the new nvme device in the USB adapter and I can see the new disk. In fdisk my old SSD apperas as Samsung SSD 850. This probably this one: SSD 850 EVO SATA III M.2 500 Go! Again. Thank you! I didi miss that possibility. I don't follow anymore tecnologies. This freed my times but it has some drawbacks!
I will migrate installation from my old one inside the nuc! Let start the game now!
