cdrtools or dvdrtools?

my lapdog has a dvdr-burner and therefor I installed the dvdrtools package. When doing a system upgrade pacman suggests that I rather use cdrtools than dvdrtools. Is pacman right?

Re: cdrtools or dvdrtools?

conflicts/provides/replaces=dvdrtools... should be obvious. Also, the dvdrtools package is from July 2005, so it should be dead.

Re: cdrtools or dvdrtools?

You might also consider installing  dvd+rw-tools as well as cdrtools.

(atleast that's what k3b suggested when i installed it on my laptop with a dvd burner)

Disliking systemd intensely, but not satisfied with alternatives so focusing on taming systemd.

clean chroot building not flexible enough ?
Try clean chroot manager by graysky
