Hi,
I've got mpd server configured and running.
I'm using GMPC and SkyMpc. Both are running correctly and plays music according to my own configured mpd.conf.
But when I use Cantata (tried both configuration as per-user and system-wide conf), it connects to mpd server and then acts unspecific.
Means it looks like using its own mpd configuration file.
For example when I take 96000 files, the output is only 44100 (both in GMPC and SkyMPC output is correct - 96 000)
Also volume button is working (both in GMPC and SkyMPC is not working, because in my mpd.conf mixer is switched to : hardware)
I have checked mpd service, etc/mpd.conf and my user mpd.conf (these conf are the same)
Everything is correct, and the proof is that as I mentioned earlier GMPC and SkyMPC work properly.
I have checked Cantata config also, but nowhere I can find and information from where Cantata takes its configuration.
Anyone could help with that?

Cantata doesn't do anything with the mpd.conf . how are you accessing these files exactly? If you use the "open with" dialog or so then cantata will surmise you do not actually have them in the mpd database and play them back via it's own mechanism (... or rather open a http socket to pass the file over). files in the mpd database should be played back by mpd without any interference on cantata's side. To be sure here you might want to untick the 'Local files support' checkbox in cantata's collection settings dialog. You need to make sure you are actually accessing mpd library files by adding tracks from the 'Library' tab into the playback queue
