Cant run 2 dvds?

hi ppl have been using this distro for some time now, i have tried many many others distros, but arch linux seems to catch my atention..just one problem ocorred and i cant seem to figure it out. I cant seem to read cds or dvds form my other dvd plyer..i have 2 and only one works...the version of udev is the latest...of course i have all the other basic stuff configs..hal..dbus...and run them on boot...i have asked for help on irc..and the ppl have said that it seems to be a bug from udev..can some one give me pointer please?
