Strange printer problem HP-PSC 1610
This is a combined printer scanner. THe scanner works.
I can print from GIMP if I set up the printer each time. When it finishes the print light keeps flashing and you have to press cancel before you can print again. If you try to print from any other app it doesn't work.
Kjobviewer shows an error.
This started a couple of updates ago.
I run testing. KDE CUPS etc.

did you use hplip ?
how have you configured your printer in cups ?
by using hplip i.e. your Device URI begins with hp:/
or it begins with usb:/
have you got an error from kprint in kde ? which can't communicate with cups ? (bug of kde)

I'm using hplip. Every thing was working then I did SYU. The only problem is I did several updates before I tried to print so I don't know what caused the problem.
