Bluetooth mouse doesn't show up when scanning

Hi.

I bought a new bluetooth mouse, Microsoft Bluetooth Mobile 3600. I can't connect it to my laptop. When scanning during a bluetoothctl session, the MAC address of the mouse doesn't appear.

Here's the steps I perform:

1. Run the bluetoothctl command in the terminal;

2. Run the scan on command inside the bluetoothctl session (power is already on, an agent is registered);

3. Enter the pairing mode on the mouse (by pressing and holding the power button during 3 seconds) — the MAC address should appear on the session screen, but it doesn't.

I can pair other bluetooth devices I use perfectly fine (e. g. DualShock 4, bluetooth headphones). I can pair the mouse to my Android mobile phone also without any problems.

What can be the reason of this problem? How to pair the mouse?

Thanks.
