Hello there!
I'm fairly new to Arch Linux and I have encountered a problem. First of all I can hear anything through my headphones, except when I go into Discord for example and manually specify I want to use my headphones. Otherwise, for example when I try to watch Youtube I don't get any sound. I have snooped around online to try to find a fix but I haven't figured it out. I tried to run: "pacmd set-default-sink 1" but to no success. When I run: "pactl list short sinks" I get my two output sources, one being by headphones that I want to use and the other one being my computer's internal I'm guessing (which I don't think works to begin with). Both says that they are SUSPENDED.
Also, when I run pulseaudio in the terminal I get:
pid.c: Daemon already running.
main.c: pa_pid_file_create() failed.
Another thing that I have noticed that doesn't work is that my headset have a volume knob on them but it doesn't seem to work with the audio on my computer. I get the response from the headphones that the volume gets impacted but there's no change in the actual volume.
How do I fix these issues?
Thank you, and have a great day!

Try installing and running pavucontrol to give you a GUI to configure the various interfaces.

Yeah, that made it much easier to fix. Thank you!
Do you also know how I can get support for my buttons on my headset? I have a volume knob on them but it doesn't change the volume on my computer.
