x2goserver installation [SOLVED]

For some reason installation of x2goserver fails on my computer when trying to create database

# x2godbadmin --createdb
Can not find user (x2gouser)

previous steps from wiki went fine.

I've searched for similar topics everywhere but they are rather old (2015-16) and without definitive conclusions.
I have no clue as what could be misconfigured or missing. Any suggestions?

Re: x2goserver installation [SOLVED]

The users should be created by /usr/share/libalpm/hooks/20-systemd-sysusers.hook being triggered by /usr/lib/sysusers.d/x2goserver.conf being installed. The error suggests that they weren't, but as a sanity check, what is the output of

# id x2gouser x2goprint

As well as

# pacman -Qkk systemd pacman

Sakura:-
Mobo: MSI MAG X570S TORPEDO MAX // Processor: AMD Ryzen 9 5950X @4.9GHz // GFX: AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT // RAM: 32GB (4x 8GB) Corsair DDR4 (@ 3000MHz) // Storage: 1x 3TB HDD, 6x 1TB SSD, 2x 120GB SSD, 1x 275GB M2 SSD

Making lemonade from lemons since 2015.

Re: x2goserver installation [SOLVED]

Thanks! It was a good clue. It looks like this was due to hold on systemd version. After updating it I could start x2go normally. Now the computer will not boot (that's why the systemd was hold) but that's a completely different story.
