I have a luks partition on an external drive and I have the following issues:
1. I can only open it from the machine from whence it was created, on all other machines it says the password is wrong which is not possible
2. I cannot mount the partition even on said machine
I have no idea where to even begin troubleshooting this problem.
Edit: No idea what happened but I loaded the dm_crypt module on my other machine and then it worked... bizarre tho because all of my machines have system encrypted partitions so not sure what happened there.
