[Solved]cgminer -gpu not detected- nvidia GTX1060

cgminer unable to find my GPU and cant mine

matter how powerful it is. You have to purchase dedicated mining hardware
called ASICs to plug into your computer. See Q regarding ASICs below.

Q: What happened to CPU and GPU mining?
A: Their efficiency makes them irrelevant in the bitcoin mining world today
and the author has no interest in supporting alternative coins that are better
mined by these devices.

i found out that cgminer3.7.2 is the last version which supports GPU mining.  ponyrider dont know what he is talking about.... GPU mining is still working..... it is just 2x-10x more expensive than a ASIC miner (electricity bill / hashrate you get).

or try cgminer-gpu (AUR)

working fine !

The extract is from the cgminer 4.10 documentation which you obviously didn't read!!!
