[Solved]Pipewire/Jack/Carla - No audio, Prevent self-connects

Hallo,

1) I have no sound with Pipewire (mpv (alsa or jack) connected to soundcard). The hw output nodes in Carla also don't reflect the real hardware setup. The nvidia/hdmi soundcard is missing and the Audigy2 has much more than just 2 audio-out ports (that are not even working). I've tried with and without .asoundrc. Maybe the pipewire hardware configuration has to be tweaked first (/etc/pipewire/media-session.d/). But how?

2) How to prevent jack self-connects with pipewire? Jack2 audio server has an on option for that but how is it done in Pipewire?

Solution:
There was  a bad profile selected in pavucontrol. I didn't even know pavucontrol/pulse is such an important component of PipeWire.
