sort pacman -Ss search results by relevance like pamac (GUI) can do

Hello,

I have recently obtained pamac to manage my packages with a GUI. The difference I noticed is that paCman and paMac give different search results they also do have different package descriptions. Why? For example searching for "text editor" in paMac gives me "gostwriter" as the second search result while paCman doesn't give it at all (cause "text editor" isn't in the package description).

Moreover the package description for ghostwriter on paCman is "Aesthetic, distraction-free Markdown editor" while on paMac it's: "Distraction-free text editor for Markdown".

I'm happier with the search results provided by paMac than by paCman because search terms are more intuitive and relevant. Is there a way to set paCman to deliver similar results as paMac? Moreover how come the package descriptions are different in paCman and in my opinion less useful then paMacs? Also how are those search results sorted in paCman? By relevance?

Greetings

Probably because of archlinux-appstream-data-pamac, your description sounds like the tokens are from the ghostwriter.appdata.xml
