Hi all,
This is an issue that's been discussed a lot, but not necessarily the combination that I have,
I am running an up-to-date 5.11 kernel, which supposedly contains lots of fixes for AMD Ryzen chips.
Basically, I am completely unable to suspend to RAM. The display turns off, the machine freezes up, and only a long power button press to turn off is possible. The last entry of journalctl is PM: suspend entry (deep).
I've never had this working on an older kernel either - it's also broken on 5.10.26 LTS.
I have adapted the ACPI tables to add S3 support - it wasn't there initally. Maybe I haven't done this properly. It's listed in dmesg output.
Anyone got any ideas of how I can debug exactly what the issue is? Not being able to close the lid of my laptop and just let it sleep is a real hindrance.
Thanks
