Nautilus SAMBA Login

Ever since a somewhat recent update I've been having a bit of issue with an anonymous smb file share. I wish I knew exactly what update this was but since I didn't unmount my storage and reboot for awhile it's tough to pin down exactly. I know it had to be something in early to mid March if that helps. I hadn't made any changes to this part of my configuration for years but I do remember there being updates to gvfs, Nautilus, Samba and some other possibly relevant things in March.

Anyway, I'm running Nautilus file manager in XFCE. When I select an anonymous / passwordless SMB file share, Nautilus now pops up a window asking me to enter credentials. I don't actually need credentials for this share so just clicking "OK" is fine and it connects. In that sense this isn't really a major issue because it DOES connect. It's just annoying to get an extra popup message which I hadn't had to deal with before.

If I click connect it will open the share correctly but I get the same popup again as soon as I unmount it and attempt to connect again.

I'm not sure how particularly helpful this is but this is the only thing of note that I'm seeing in my system journal.
