Firefox and .cgi annoyance [solved]

I'm trying to access my dreamhost webpanel, which turns out to be some index.cgi page (after I've entered my credentials), but I always get a popup asking me to download the file.

Firefox doesn't seem to process the CGI file itself. Anyone else have this problem and/or know a fix?

Re: Firefox and .cgi annoyance [solved]

You should contact the web admin, because it seems that the cgi application is sending the wrong mime header.

To be sure, check with epiphany or konquerer first...

I tried epiphany too, same results.

I know it works on my windows box using the same firefox build.

No problems with Konqueror there...

Browsers don't process CGI, webservers do. Browsers only interpret html and images or download files.
