Hello
I'm using laptop-mode-tools on my Dell XPS 13 (9380) because it allows me to use the video-out module, which (at least that's how I understood it) turns off external monitors when the laptop switches to suspend. However, laptop-mode-tools results in reduced battery life for me. It was a lot better with tlp, but tlp and laptop-mode-tools are in conflict with each other. Is there any way to improve battery life to the level of tlp with laptop-mode-tools, or to use video-out with tlp?
Thanks in advance!
edit: I want the external monitors to turn off because otherwise xrandr / autorandr seem to have problems recognizing the monitors correctly when the laptop wakes from suspend.
