Hello,
Just a few days ago I got myself a new PC which has a 480GB SATA SSD and a 1TB HDD. I installed Win10 and Arch Linux (with root and grub being on the SSD while Home takes up the majority of the HDD).
One thing I noticed is how considerably slower Plasma has gotten since the switch (in opening settings for example). Since it's the same SSD I doubt it's causing the problem, so it must be something that gets stored on the HDD itself.
I'm wondering if anyone knows what that is and if it's possible to safely move it to say /opt without breaking anything?

It's probably all of the config files in your home folder that plasma needs to load, that's why I have /home on my SSD and just use bind mounts to the HD for any large media directories.
