"Registered" date has two values. [SOLVED]

In the sidebar of my posts I see:

"Registered: 2020-02-18", but in my "Profile" I see
"Registered: 2012-05-24", which is correct (though I'd been mostly inactive since then).

?

It shows  2012-05-25 here, so there's definitely something going on.

That discrepancy is likely down to timezones. The registration date will be stored as a UTC date time, and adjusted depending on what you have configured in your profile.
