Gnome 40.1 - no window snapping

In Gnome 3, I was used to windows snapping one to another. By that I mean that when I dragged one window over another, the dragged window got "glued" for a bit to the window below when their edges were next to each other. Similarly when window was resized -- the moving edge also got "glued" to another window. Recently (I don't exactly remember when, I just started to notice it, maybe with version 40 maybe with 40.1 but maybe a bit earlier) this no longer happens. The only related setting is edge tiling which is something different. Is it possible to turn the snapping back on?

Yes, just hold down Ctrl while moving windows.

Cool, thanks! However, is it possible to make it do this even without Ctrl, or reverse the beaviour, i.e. snap by default and not snap with Ctrl?
