Garuda Terminal Colors in Arch

Greetings,

The one thing I like about Garuda, is the terminal colors which I believe is achieved by fish; even if you use another terminal?

I want to know, if I just install a DE on top of Arch, how would I implement the colors? Is there a config file on Garuda with the settings?

Thanks in advance,
Matt

?

Do you mean general 256 color output of commands (or the fish shell syntax highlighting) or a specifc color scheme?
http://terminal.sexy/ allows you to click together a color scheme and export it for various TEs - for everything else youÄll have to elaborate on your desires.

No, it didn't "fix" anything. It just shifted the brokeness one space to the right. - jasonwryan

Now that you mention it, True Color or 256 would work fine. I mean the command highlighting at the prompt and directory and file listings, etc...

I forget if they're using bash or zsh. That's probably where the color schemes would be defined?

@Slithery, I will check those out.

Thanks

So, for what I am looking for, I would install your ZSH color theme, correct?

I just noticed that the default shell is Fish. Will your ZSH config emulate the colors for that shell?

Please stop bumping, just edit your posts if nobody has replied.

The actual colors are defined by the terminal emulator (xterm, alacritty, urxvt, …) - using them on command outputs etc. by your shells rc
If you use fish, you need to alter the fishrc, if you use zsh the zshrc - nb. that the garuda configs change more than just colorization.

I get it. That's what I thought. Sorry for the repetition. I will figure it out.
