Wiki Templates

Now that category tree is starting to take shape, I would like all wiki users to give me some thoughts about the Wiki Page Templates.

One of the things I always wondered on our wiki pages is why we don't use more templates. I made a few ad-hoc ones when I wrote http://wiki.archlinux.org/index.php/Dell_Latitude_D600, but I never got any feedback/didn't know who to ask regarding using templates in wiki-pages. So obviously the point of a wiki is to have a common base of knowledge that users can contribute to, but in addition to that it also needs to be presented in a logical and easily read format.

I've kind of been out of the Arch loop lately, but is the goal to come up with a set of standard templates that everyone can use to make contributions more organized?
