Has anyone been able to get lotus notes for linux working on Arch?
I keep getting a cannot validate mozilla error - even though I have installed Mozilla Browser 1.7.13 and created an /etc/gre.conf that points to it.

If you want my opinion, you're *much* better off running 6.5 in wine than you are trying to use the native version. Even once it's been installed correctly (no small feat) it is dogass slow and buggy. 6.5 under wine more or less "just works" and so do most of the plugins IME. This of course depends on you being able to use versions prior to 7 in your current setup. This is what I've done for a colleague at my office, though, and it works quite well.

I guess you just verified why I should stick with wine. I had the Linux version running under Debian and as you said it was real slow - I thought it may be better under Arch, but I guess not.
Thanks for the reply.

In case anyone is interested it seems as if it would only install if Firefox 1.5 was installed - it could not read the 2.0 or Mozilla Browser 1.7.13 files correctly.
What I did was create an /etc/gre.conf with:
[1.5.07]
GRE_PATH=/opt/mozilla/lib/firefox-1.5.0.7and it started installing. Note that you will also need OpenMotif 2.2.3 installed.
