Recently I reinstalled ArchLinux. Now I'm unable to see the photos in Shotwell. The camera is mounted, but there is a message saying "The camera seems to be empty. No photos/videos found to import".
Stumped, I've figured out how to use gphoto2 to import my files to a folder and then use Shotwell to import it. So gphoto2 works and I don't have to use sudo to do this. I'm really stumped, and I could just keep doing it this way, but was hoping to get some help.

Hi goro9922,
I had the same problem as well. It seems to be an issue in the current shotwell version 0.30.12 as mentioned here. Downgrading to 0.30.11 did the trick for me.

Hi don_philipe, thanks for getting back to me. That really helps. I actually downloaded the source and search it for clues. I guess I can wait and just use gphoto2 directly.
Cheers.

The latest shotwell resolves this issue.
$ sudo pacman -Q shotwell
shotwell 2:0.30.14-1
