Arch(SSD) disappeared after taking out HDD and putting it back in?

I installed Arch on my Samsung SSD and it worked perfectly for a week, then I decided to take out my HDD which stores my photos, it was installed in my PC during Arch installation but I made sure I chose my SSD, but both the drives are 1TB so I may have made a mistake.

After taking my HDD out, I turned on my PC and it automatically loaded up BIOS menu, and if I try booting with “UEFI Hard Disk” it just goes in a never ending loop of turning off and booting to a black screen for a second, then turning back off again.

I installed Arch via USB if that helps and I use rEFIND boot manager. Everything was butter smooth until I took my HDD out, and my boot manager won’t appear again.

If you actually ended up setting up the EFI system partition on the HDD rather than the SSD then this is normal and expected behaviour. you need to mount the ESP and reinstall the refind bootloader with the appropriate reinstall command
