When I run OOO as root, no problem, it is working fine. Menus are OK.
When I run OOO as a regular user, on the menus, there are no fonts but little squares instead.
I read thoroughly the WIKI and tried everything in there.
Nothing works.
It seems to be a permission problem.
Where to tweak??? What to do???
Could anyone help?

Problem solved:
I guessed and opened Tools>Options
Then Openoffice>View and unchecked "Use system fonts for user interface"
Now the user interfaces shows up nicely.
