Hey everyone!
I've had this problem for a long time and though I've given it multiple tries, I can't seem to find a solution anywhere to this problem.
Whenever I use open wifi on transportation, the connection drops after around 5 min. regardless of usage. This doesn't happen on any other device I have, nor have I heard this happen to anyone else. I can't ping the gateway through the ip address given with ip route, but I don't exactly know if this is how it's supposed to work.
This the status log from the iwd service

The log starts w/ you restarting iwd, please post "sudo journalctl -b" for a full boot covering the problem ("… -b -2" for two boots ago)
Whatever you do, please never use "-x" because it only clutters the output w/ useless noise.
AddressRandomization=network
This is often a problem, see networkmanager wiki on randomization, so try the behavior w/ "disabled".

I'll do that in the future, thanks! Here is the "journalctl -b" for that time:

I've tried disabling it, which didn't do anything.

There's a high frequency of iwd restarts - I initially thought it might relate to the dameon reload (because of the failing backup) but this here seems to be a clean incident:
