Bluetooth Audio Stuttering

I've had problems with Bluez that caused the A2DP profile on my headphones to disappear. I finally solved them by changing to bluez-git and rm /var/lib/bluetooth/*

Now I'm having severe stuttering in my music. It happens every 10-15 seconds, and sounds like a buffering problem.

I'm at a loss since I can't find any errors in the logs. The only thing I see that could be possibly related is Blueman reporting that the transmit power is low:

- Received Signal Strenght: 50%
- Link Quality: 100%
- Transmit Power Level: 10% (Low)

Any thoughts?
