Youtube video does not download

Excuse me for bringing it to Newbie Corner, I am new to the forums and am not sure which one should suit better for.

I unsuccessfully tried to open and load a Youtube video on the Firefox today, just after updating my computer and being a couple weeks inactive. The Desktop Environment is Gnome, yet I'm not sure if it has any influence over that issue. Same thing would go for other browsers, like Vivaldi and Chromium. When I tried to use youtube-dl to download the video, I faced the same issue:

$ youtube-dl -F https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WSRnYK1Jf5s

Although Youtube doesn't work, Vimeo and other video platforms would work normally. How to solve this problem?

I forgot to mention that I managed to play a Youtube video on Firefox for a short time while removing the HDMI cable from my laptop. After rebooting, it wouldn't work any longer.

That worked OK for me (got a 17,824,941 byte file); note that the message is: "Temporary failure in name resolution"

That didn't work due to "Temporary failure in name resolution":

My /etc/resolv.conf file is set to resolve 1.1.1.1:

SOLVED
It turns out 1.1.1.1 doesn't seem to work fine for this domain. Instead I reset the router DNS config to default settings and now it works:

No, 1.1.1.1 is reachable and worked out for most of the domains:
