They did just a few days ago;
today when I plugged something to USB-A ports I get dead silence in
journalctl -k -f
I do have usb-c hub and plugging USB-A devices works just fine there;
I get exactly the same outputs of
lspci
and
lsusb
as are recorded in the wiki (save ssd)

This looks very bizarre, but I'm suspecting hardware fault ;/ since even in UEFI I can't see e.g. plugged usb-A drive (as a boot medium).
Anyone has experienced something similar? how to check that the ports are not powered down (for some reason?)
I did disable tlp and have USB-power-on-suspend set to OFF in UEFI.
