[SOLVED] fsck on root partition

Hello,

Because my machine isn't operating well lately, I have decided to do a fsck (where there should be needed) on the root partition. The problem is, I can't do it while the system is running, and I don't know how I could start the command before booting (because I assume then the root wouldn't be mounted) -- or how to start fsck before I root the main partition.

Please help me,

Boot from the installation USB or any other live distro.

Maybe try pre-root recovery shell.
