Today I upgraded my laptop (T14 gen 1) to Linux 5.12.13. With this version the gpu is always at 100%. Reverting to 5.12.11 solves the issue. Does anyone else noticed something like that?

When I upgrade kernel to 5.12.13, the power consumption is always 20W+(while 5.12.12 usually less than 8W), making the core temperature more than 60 degrees. So downgraded.
AMD Ryzen 3700U.
I'm waiting for a better version or deal with it after final exam.

been running 5.12.13 since it came out and just noticed my ups was reporting higher than normal power usage today. went digging around and then saw this and yup, my 6900xt is affected by it too. downgraded to 5.12.12 and problem went away. blacklisted linux in my pacman.conf until the next stable hits that fixes it.

Can you confirm the issue is resolved in linux 5.12.14.arch1-1 currently in testing?

i installed 5.12.14 and radeontop gives normal results instead of graphics pipe on 100% all the time

Also fixed for me - as reported by sensors (W of power used by the GPU) and by my temperature logs.
Maybe OP wants to mark this as fixed?
