Hi,
While testing if my automount worked I realized that Nautilus shows wrong disk-capacities.
Disk Usage Analyzer shows the expected values.
df however shows the same values I get from nautilus; meaning that an almost entirely empty disk is supposed to hold 60gigabyte of data. For the 1TB-disk it shows specifically:
Filesystem 1K-blocks Used Available Use%
/dev/sda1 960302096 11026292 900421380 2%Which is quite strange: 2% of 960GB is ~19GB, not 60. So I moved the data to a different SSD and erased the whole thing. It took long enough but did not change anything:
/dev/sda1 960302096 28 911447644 1%Again, 9,6<49. And again, Disk Usage shows the correct value.
I would like to understand what's going on and if this is normal. I looked online but didn't find anything.
Thank you,
Leo

Let me guess, you're using ext4?
