Hi everyone, I noticed that WiFi coverage and WiFi Hotspot is so slow on linux. It's like 10x slower on linux compared on windows, and I wondered if There's some configuration or something I missed out.
Output of lshw -C network

Try
rtl8821ae.ips=0 rtl8821ae.aspm=0 and post some actual data https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Networ … _interface
Also a complete system journal because 99% of all cases of "my internet is slow™" boild down to using concurrent network managing services.
Finally, see the 3rd link in my signature.

I also don't dual boot anymore but I have once my windows booted and it has more wifi speed than my arch.

I also didn't know why my Network Manager does not manage my wifi anymore.

1. don't bump. edit your post unless somebody has replied
I also don't dual boot anymore but I have once my windows booted and it has more wifi speed than my arch.
2. it doesn't matter whether you don't boot windows anymore, it might still be hibernating. Make sure to prevent that.
3. Then why do you believe it's (still, somehow) comparable - there could be some new interference impeding the signal (eg. a bluetooth device)
"Can't be the HW because I believe windows was faster 6 months ago" is a void statement.
4. We therefore lack the link status
I also didn't know why my Network Manager does not manage my wifi anymore.
5. Because you configured it
[keyfile]
unmanaged-devices=interface-name:wlp3s06. As a consequence the journal doesn't cover wifi usage at all and is pretty much useless.
7. How exactly did you determine that your wifi is "so slow" when you just stumbled over the fact that it's not being used???

Sorry bout that, but I just have it like I have my wired connection up to 70-100mbps but if I like I hotspot my connection I have like 0.7mbps on my phone,
I already erased the configuration and before that I used create_ap for me to use hotspot, but now I use network-manager to do that.
