Hello. I've been having this issue several times in the past, mostly a couple months ago, and it still persists till now. The problem is basically that the latest mainline ``linux`` kernel package freezes Xorg entirely when I boot into TTY and type ``startx``. Using linux-lts fixes it, but I'd really like to stay on the latest kernel release; and I'd also like to know why exactly this happens. I've searched a lot, but most results such as uninstalling xf86-video-intel didn't work, and they were more than a year in the past, while this issue is relatively more recent. For what it's worth, this also happens in every other distro I try; especially in the live environment, where I specifically have to specify "nomodeset" in the arguments for it to not freeze.
Output of uname -a using linux-lts:
``Linux arch-pc 5.10.44-1-lts #1 SMP Wed, 16 Jun 2021 18:36:41 +0000 x86_64 GNU/Linux``
For what it's worth, I dual-boot Arch and Artix.

How "entirely"? Can you still ssh into the system? (And check dmesg/xorg log)
especially in the live environment, where I specifically have to specify "nomodeset" in the arguments for it to not freeze.
The arch install iso? Doesn't start X11 anyway, though?
Random stuff:

Please post a complete system journal from a main kernel boot (sudo journalctl -b) - ideally after triggering the freeze (is you can shutdown the system cleanly, "sudo journalctl -b -1" will get you the journal of the previous boot.

No. I meant other ISOs' live environments, such as Pop_OS!, Artix Linux, EndeavourOS, and whatever else I put my hands on, whether Debian or Arch based. I'm unsure if this is a fault of my GPU specifically, or those distributions just don't configure GPUs properly.
I'll try to provide the logs and answers to your other questions ASAP, as of right now, I'm not close to my main computer that this happened in.
EDIT: This issue has been fixed a long while ago after this for some reason, randomly when I switched to linux one day. Thank you very much for attempting to help and I'm sorry for waiting this long to get to saying this, as I couldn't figure out what the password for this account was until I remembered it got emailed to me. Thank you again, and I apologise.
