My new bluetooth mouse is not recognized by the gnome or bluetoothutilz. I thought it might be the issue that it is too low energy, as mentioned in the wiki, and tried
hcitool lescanto find it. But it gives
Set scan parameters failed: Input/output errorI tried restarting everything including my laptop, but the problem persists. What could be the cause?

I have the same problem and finally find that `hcitool` is deprecated. Try `btmgmt` instead.
