[SOLVED] GTK doesnt work as user, but does as root (assumption)

Hi all

My Problem is that various programms (FileZilla, LibreOffice, ...) look really weird if i run them as user:

But if I run them as root, it works as expected:

I assume it has something to do with file permissions, but I dont really know what to google.

I would really appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction at least.

David

This depends on your gtk settings and this pretty much looks like expected if you/your GTK theme has dark mode enabled.

See https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/GTK#Configuration and https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/GTK#Dark_theme_variant
