GNU TeXmacs does not start.

Starting GNU TeXmacs gives the following error:

Segmentation fault (core dumped)

I have tried using TeXmacs from the official repositories, texmacs-qt from AUR as well as the TeXmacs genric package from its website. All of them give the same error.

Have you tried kile-git or texstudio ? I use them both and in my opinion they are better alternatives than TeXmacs, with enhanced possibilities. I can not tell what is causing your error without some extra information. What output do you get from dmesg?
