I Suspend Arch Linux several times a day. Since last 5-7 days, every time I am waking it up from Suspend, my DVD writer tray is opening automatically.
I use GNOME. Same problem exists if you e.g. disable GDM and run SDDM+LxQt setup. So problem is not GNOME or any desktop specific. It's minor inconvenience but at every wake, I need to push the tray button to close it, not to mention accidentally hitting it if I forgot the close it.
How to solve it?

No ideas, but does the journal provide anything around the time of a wake-up?

What to learn/google for that to find that out?

Yes, exactly this. Now just have to wait for the bug to be fixed
