Hello, everything is in the title.
I tried to get full access on my smatphone using ADB and Fastboot with my Arch distro, since it worked with my previous phone, but strangely, each time I reboot the phone in bootloader mode, it seems like the Fastboot toolis unable to detect my phone, even though ADB could.
I searched a lot, I didn't find any solution on the internet and there's no specific errors messages.
Tried to reinstall Android drivers, no success.
I'm open to any help. If my topic is not correctly located, please feel free to move it. Don't really know where to post it.

You're running fastboot as root, correct? Just making sure. I've had it fail to find devices with no helpful errors when running it as a user.

Are you rebooting to fastboot directly with ADB?
Does nothing show for
fastboot devices
?

Yep, with or without sudo, it doesn't work.

Lots of links here https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?id=82444
It looks like the version of Android tools matters with Samsung.
You can also ask at XDA https://forum.xda-developers.com/c/sams … -a10.8700/

Sadly your links didn't help me a lot... I'll re-read them later but isn't there more direct solutions to my issue?

Try to see if the phone is detected if is connected while the phone is on.
Have you installed samsung-unified-driver from the AUR ?

It's detected by Arch when connected as a normal smartphone, with USB link. It doesn't longer get detected when I am relying on fastboot. And yes, I installed it, no effect.

Had you enabled the usb debug from the phone settings ? (to enable it you have to switch in developer mode, clicking 10 times the build number of the phone in the info section of the phone options)
And also, when you connect your phone to the pc you allow to write and modify file or only to charge?

USB Debug Mode as much enabled as Developer Mode, and when the phone is connected I evidently allow the computer to write on it. I'm using the file transfer way, so it's not only charge.

Kind of having the same problem with my Essential Phone. USB mode is working fine, Scrcpy which is using adb debugging is doing its thing pefectly, but when working inside VSCode with Flutter development my device is not recognized
