Hello. I am currently working on my own OS. But in KDE or Xfce built with archiso, when I customize the desktop with themes and icons, I can't save them again into a iso. My problem is how to import all customization into a archiso, so that when I distribute it and users go into the live system , it looks gorgeous . Also how do I save all those customizations for the newly installed user, if someone is installing my OS, so that after they install also , all the customizations are there. Sorry for bad English. Thank you !!

You don't think that having to ask this question should preclude you from creating your own OS? Especially one based on Arch. Because what the world desperately needs right now is another Arch based spinoff made by and for the clueless...

yeah, but my project is also kind of a personal project(for now), and I am creating an OS that looks like what I like my OS to be. So do you have any idea how to customize kde or xfce with archsio live image

Arch is not Ubuntu where you spin off a new distro to ship a self-indulging wallpaper & colorscheme.
You want to create some dotfile repo or at best a meta-package that provides the necessary dependencies and your "gorgous" custom settings.
So do you have any idea how to customize kde or xfce with archsio live image
… or try to re-invent derivates, https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/Arch-b … tributions

thank you for your suggestion. But I am really a noob in archiso . So after uploading my dot files to github, how do i install it in a virtual machine?
i have customized a live image and copied to .config and other files but in the new vm . when i pasted the files, it did not change anything. Please provide a tutorial on how to restore the dot files (on a live machine, so won't be able to reboot)

Do you really expect anyone to interact with you when in just a couple posts you're just completely contradicting or negating everything you say:
I am creating an OS ... But I am really a noob
... so that when I distribute it and users ... my project is also kind of a personal project
As for the following:
Please provide a tutorial on how to ...
That's not how this community works.
That's not how this distro works.
That's now how the world works.
