[SOLVED]Screen shows static when I unlock the screeN

Hello, I installed arch today and whenever the screen was locked and I unlock it there is nothing but static(see image below). The computer does not respond to any input, all I can do is shut it down by holding the power button.
I have and HP255G6 laptop. I have reinstalled the OS a couple of time but the result remains the same. I have had arch on this machine in the past as well but I have never had such an issue.

I mage to fix it by downgrading to the lts version of the kernel which is 5.10.52-1-lts at the time of writing this post.
