pipewire-pulse core dumping

Hi everyone,

Not sure if this is a bug or a problem with my own setup, so thought I'd try here before reporting it!

For the past couple of weeks now, I've been using Pipewire rather than Pulseaudio/JACK - using it for JACK type stuff has been great however for 'normal desktop usage' it's been behaving a bit weird. Usually I'll be be on a Skype call and watching a YouTube video or playing a game, and it seems like all of my sound cards reset, meaning the sound to and from whatever I'm doing completely cuts off until I restart it.

I saw this on the Wiki: https://wiki.archlinux.org/title/PipeWi … rt_playing and have done this fix but it doesn't seem to have helped, though I don't get the error anymore that that part of the Wiki highlights.

When I run

journalctl --user -b -u pipewire-pulse

I see this error around the time of the cut-out which presumably explains my problem: https://termbin.com/kdi8

Has anyone hit this and found a fix? Thanks!
